Responsibilities:
- Nurture, acquire, retain, manage, and grow your business portfolio
- Enhance expertise in a focused chemical industry sector
- Conduct market research, stay abreast of trends, and sell fine and specialty raw materials within a targeted industry
- Meet deadlines, responding to business needs proactively and professionally
- Manage, qualify, and develop new & existing leads and opportunities
- Convert qualified leads into sales
- Anticipate customer demand and purchasing patterns to drive sales
- Proactively identify new ways to expand past accounts
- Discover, qualify, and establish prospect business through outbound activity
- Conduct international and domestic market research to identify leads
- Analyze raw material and commodity market news and trends
- Strategically form relationships with suppliers for sustainable business growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally to process orders and track progress
- Utilize CRM to track opportunity status and client relationships

Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years' experience in raw materials and/or chemical sales, marketing, or supply chain
- Experience conducting business over the phone
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen with attention to details
- Strong professional etiquette
- Motivated to succeed and contribute to the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 per year
