Since its release in 2014, Spark’s initial project Rock RMS, has been leading the innovation curve of the Church Management Space. Hundreds of ministries have been impacted by this open-source revolution. It’s amazing what God has done and we believe He’s just getting started. This position is a key hire that will help churches harness their data and personalize their ministries by providing Rock-powered custom websites. We’re looking for quick learners who are motivated by applying the latest technologies to impact this world for the better.

You’ll be:

• Creating web-based solutions for one of the most innovative ministry platforms in the country.
• Masterfully applying the latest technologies to architect powerful, performant sites and pages.
• Collaborating with our team of communicators, developers and designers to deliver excellence.
• Providing light administrative and project management support for our web and communications processes.
• Supporting both internal and external clients.
• Driving social media presence and engagement with strategic, well-designed posts.
• Contributing to technology that changes lives, seriously… what you do is that important.

You’ll work well if you are:

• A master of HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, Less and jQuery.
• Passionate about quality Javascript code.
• Knowledgeable about Adobe Creative Suite, especially PhotoShop.
• Experienced using Figma for mock-ups and designs.
• A stickler for good site architecture.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbally.
• Familiar with Shopifys Liquid or Rocks custom Lava engine
• Experienced with organizational social media management and tools.

For Bonus Points:3

• Working knowledge of ASP.Net / C#.
• Tend to paint everything bright orange.
• Have an unusual interest in Rock lobsters.
