The Contract Data Analyst will be responsible for creating proof-of-concept solutions for the Supply Chain and Logistics area of Google Cloud. You are an expert with the Looker Product and have experience working with BigQuery. You can patiently work through data issues and driving processes/systems that solve these issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop LookML and Looker Visualizations
Structure base data in BigQuery
Data validation and management of reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience as a data analyst
Attention to detail and work ethic for dealing with a variety of data issues
Expert level in Looker
Advanced SQL
Experience with BigQuery
Aggressive problem solver, curious for challenges as opposed to committed to reproducing former structure
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Data warehousing and ETL Tools
Experience with big data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HBase, etc.)
Experience with code repositories
Experience with cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
Operational management experience
