Job Description
An event company in Summerlin is seeking an office assistant/front desk receptionist who is a team player and has an interest in the wedding business. This is a fast-paced environment and will require time management skills as well as people skills and efficiency. THE WORK SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION IS THURSDAY – MONDAY.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist CEO, salespeople, and other office staff
- Answer phones, take messages, check voicemail
- Greet and assist clients
- Schedule tours and meetings according to coordinators' schedules
- Keep front desk and office areas tidy and organized
- Accept and process payments
- Communicate with coordinators, facilitators, assistants, managers, and maintenance staff as needed
- Use of office machines such as printers, fax machine, scanner, etc.
- Take note of office supplies and notify manager when in need of replacements
- Occasional assistance with wedding set-up as needed
- Additional office duties as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Be available to work Thursday-Monday
- Have basic computer proficiency
- Be able to take direction well
- Be friendly and polite
- Be a quick learner
- Be responsible and reliable
- Dress professionally and presentably
- Be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- OFFICE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE REQUIRED
- Knowledge of Google G-Suite preferred
- Ability to communicate verbally and written in English (Bilingual a plus!)
- Great customer service and phone skills
- Great at following directions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Ability to perform all aspects of the job
- Must have reliable transportation
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15 per hour
