    Location: 2918 2nd Ave North Palm Springs, FL 33461 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $16–$20/hour (based on experience) Reports To: Field Supervisor

    Job Summary We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weed Spraying Technician to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you'll apply targeted herbicide treatments to control weeds, maintain landscapes, and ensure client properties look pristine.     Key Responsibilities Conduct site assessments to identify weed types, infestation levels, and environmental factors.

    Safely mix, load, and apply herbicides, pesticides, and other chemical treatments using sprayers, backpacks, or truck-mounted equipment.

    Follow integrated pest management (IPM) practices to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with local regulations.

    Maintain and calibrate spraying equipment, vehicles, and tools to ensure optimal performance.

    Document treatments, including application rates, weather conditions, and results, using mobile apps or logs.

    Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate weed control into broader maintenance plans.

    Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on treatment plans and follow-up care.

    Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and hazardous material handling.

    Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pesticide application (e.g., EPA or state-specific license) preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

    2+ years of experience in lawn care, pest control, or related field; entry-level candidates with strong enthusiasm will be considered.

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

    Knowledge of herbicide types, application techniques, and weed identification; familiarity with equipment like boom sprayers a plus.

    Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a safety-first mindset.
