Assisting Hands of Collegeville is seeking a dependable, experienced caregiver for a unique weekday opportunity. If you're ready to step into an on-call role, provide exceptional care when needed, and earn a guaranteed daily stipend, keep reading.

You’ll be our first line of support when a caregiver calls out or a new client starts. Even if you’re not sent out, you’ll still earn for your time on standby. If you like the idea of being the go-to person for a fast-moving agency—and getting paid like it—you’ll thrive here.

Requirements:

CNA license in Pennsylvania OR at least 4 years of hands-on caregiving experience

Reliable transportation and willingness to drive anywhere in Montgomery County with short notice

Confident, adaptable, and experienced in various client care needs

Strong communication skills and ideally, experience mentoring other caregivers

Perks and Pay:

$60 daily stipend just for being available (that’s $5/hour even if not dispatched)

$22/hour when actively working with clients

$0.70/mile for travel between clients

Paid training and growth opportunities

$300/year for continuing education

401(k) eligibility after 1 year

What You’ll Do:

Stay accessible during your scheduled on-call hours 7am-7pm (Weekdays)

Fill in for last-minute shifts and new case openings

Deliver high-quality care and support (ADLs, companionship, mobility help, etc.)

Assist fellow caregivers with check-ins and training

Observe and report client condition changes using AxisCare

Coordinate with the office on care plan updates and follow-ups
