    Job Location: The location of this role varies by season throughout the greater Inland Empire area.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Youth Sports Instructors to join our team at i9 Sports. As a Youth Sports Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and engaging sports experience for children. If you have a knack for teaching, a love for sports, and enjoy working with kids, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    Sports We Offer: Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, Baseball/T-ball, Volleyball, & Tennis

    Responsibilities

    Arrive at the designated location prior to the scheduled lesson time to set up equipment and ensure a safe and organized environment.

    Greet and check in participants, ensuring all necessary waivers and paperwork are completed.

    Engage with children in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

    Plan and deliver age-appropriate sports lessons that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

    Adapt lesson plans based on the skill levels and needs of the participants.

    Demonstrate proper techniques and provide clear instructions to participants.

    Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes growth and self-confidence.

    Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during the lesson.

    Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding lesson content, progress, and any concerns.

    Assist in cleaning up the area and storing equipment after each session.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Previous experience working with children in a sports or coaching capacity is preferred.

    Strong knowledge of the sport(s) being taught, including rules, techniques, and strategies.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents.

    Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

    Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles among youth.

    Reliable, punctual, and well-organized.

    Reliable transportation able to transport equipment.

    CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

    A background check is required.

    Schedule

    This is a part-time position with flexible hours, primarily involving weekday after-school and possible weekend sessions. The number of hours per week may vary based on the program schedule and demand.
