WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND PRN WEEKEND CAREGIVER
Do you seek a highly rewarding, essential, independent job to bring in the new year? We are hiring PRN or on-call caregivers for shifts from Friday-Saturday, 6-12 hour day shifts and Monday-Friday 12 hour shifts. Successful PRNs, or 'per diem' caregivers, are essential backups who are dependable, skilled, and communicative, as we need help to cover last-minute shifts. This position is perfect for nursing students and experienced, independent caregivers. On-call/PRN caregivers must be reliable, with at least 1 year of professional experience as a caregiver, and must be able to arrive on shift within an hour of being called. Caregiver Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Assist the client with bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming
Assist with transfers and repositioning
Experience with bed bound care
Experience with memory care
Know how to use a Hoyer lift (paid training options available!)
Monitor vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
Provide assistance under Right at Home's scope of service
Driving to/from shifts with clients living throughout Albuquerque

Caregiver Requirements:
High school graduate or GED
18 years or older
CNA experience is a plus
1+ year of experience as a professional caregiver is must
Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle
2-3 professional references
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to navigate using GPS
Must be able to arrive on shifts within an hour after being staffed
