The Bay Bar and Grille is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. In this role, you will work closely with the full-time Bookkeeper ensuring the business has necessary cash and credit card requirements on our main bookkeeper's days off. Experience preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

Enter financial data and transactions

Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

Prepare casino and restaurant cash tills

Balance and batch credit card transactions

Allocate staff tip-outs appropriately

Prepare daily paperwork

Assist with payroll accuracy and recording

Qualifications

Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience in Accounting Systems such as Sage MAS 90 preferred

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Weekend Mornings Required (with other fill in opportunities as needed)

Must pass background check

Benefits/Pay

$20-$23/hour DOE
