Weekend Breakfast Attendant
Position Title: Weekend Breakfast Attendant (Friday–Sunday) Schedule: Part-time, weekends (typically early mornings, 5:30 AM–12:00 PM, depending on hotel needs) Key Skills • Guest service • Time management • Food preparation • Cleaning and sanitation • Teamwork • Attention to detail • Reliability Typical Weekend Duties On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, the attendant often: • Arrives before breakfast service to prepare food and beverages. • Greets guests and keeps the buffet stocked during peak breakfast hours. • Cleans and sanitizes the dining area throughout service. • Breaks down the breakfast area after service and prepares it for the next day. Responsibilities: • Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner • Set up and prepare the breakfast bar before service begins. • Cook and replenish hot breakfast items according to brand standards. • Prepare beverages, cereals, pastries, fruit, and other breakfast offerings. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout service. • Monitor food levels and restock items as needed. • Interact courteously with guests and respond to questions or requests. • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. • Clean tables, counters, serving equipment, and kitchen areas. • Wash dishes and utensils used during breakfast service. • Properly store food and supplies after breakfast ends. • Assist with inventory and notify management of supply needs. • Perform additional housekeeping or hotel support duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Customer service experience preferred. • Food service or hospitality experience is a plus. • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude. • Reliable attendance, especially for early morning shifts. • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds. • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly
