Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our restaurant. The role is essential to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning of dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and storage areas.

Sweep and mop floors.

Wipe down tables, chairs, counters, and high-touch surfaces.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.

Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as needed.

Wash windows, doors, and glass surfaces.

Assist with deep cleaning tasks (e.g., degreasing kitchen equipment, scrubbing walls, cleaning vents) as scheduled.

Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock to management.

Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, especially in restaurants or hospitality.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive motions (bending, reaching, scrubbing).

Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Work Schedule

Weekends mornings only (Saturday & Sunday)

Compensation

Hourly wage based on experience
