    Responsibilities:

    Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for residents during weekend shifts

    Follow established menus, recipes, and portion guidelines to ensure consistency

    Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety standards

    Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper food storage and handling procedures

    Assist with kitchen inventory, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages

    Accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions as directed

    Collaborate with kitchen staff and caregiving team to ensure timely meal service

    Requirements:

    Prior experience in a cook, food service, or dietary aide role preferred

    Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices

    Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines accurately

    Availability to work weekend shifts consistently and reliably

    Strong attention to detail and time management skills

    Compassionate, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to serving others

    Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus
