About the Role:

Guardian Residential Services LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team in Stafford, VA. This weekend day shift position (10a–10p) is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities while being part of a supportive care team.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to residents during weekend day shift hours (10am–10pm)

Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility

Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately

Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed

Facilitate community integration and recreational activities for residents

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family members regarding resident needs

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in a residential care setting preferred

Ability to work weekend day shifts consistently (Saturday and/or Sunday, 10am–10pm)

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach

Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Valid driver's license preferred
