We are seeking a caring and reliable Enhanced Direct Support Worker to support a friendly, active 25-year-old man with multiple disabilities. He enjoys community outings, social connections, and spending time with his supportive family (and their sweet dog).
This is an excellent weekend opportunity for graduate students or qualified professionals seeking meaningful, hands-on experience in behavioral supports and person-centered care.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology OR NADD Certification with hands-on experience
Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
Willing to follow behavioral support plans (autism experience a plus)
Comfortable with pets
Non-smoker with reliable transportation
Duties
Community outings and activities
Support with daily living skills and medication administration
Personal care routines
Light housekeeping and meal prep
Schedule
Fridays and weekends (every or every other weekend)
Occasional weekday shifts available
Pay. - $28–$35 per hour
