    Job Title: Weekend Op Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

    Job Type: Part-Time/Weekend

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Operations Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a Weekend Op LPN, you will work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to support patient care services over the weekend.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
    - Monitor and assess patients' health status, documenting vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in condition.
    - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper protocols and safety measures are followed.
    - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and medications.
    - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting patient dignity and independence.
    - Maintain accurate and timely medical records, and report any concerns or changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or physician.
    - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
    - Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe, clean environment for patients.
    - Participate in team meetings and ongoing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    - Current and valid LPN license in Indiana.
    - Experience in a healthcare setting preferred; previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care is a plus.
    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and interact positively with patients, families, and staff.
    - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
