Job Description:

Weekend Package is a 12 week contract between Luther Manor at Hillcrest and the employee to work 2 of 3 days of each weekend. Contract may be renewed upon completion of 12 weeks at the discretion of Luther Manor at Hillcrest. -Holiday is included as a scheduled shift. Employee is required to work it. -There is a$3 increase over Base Rate for the Weekend Package. Also included, are shift differentials for weekend pay and shift pay. -Unscheduled Absence: If employee is absent for whatever reason on any of the scheduled days, employees pay will be reduced to Base Rate an hour for the remaining shifts on that weekend. The facility maintains the right to cancel any agreement based on a single unscheduled absence. -Pick up shifts: If employee picks up or schedule to work any other shifts throughout the week, the pay will be the standard Base Rate an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of residents rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe and secure environment.
• Assume accountability for compliance with Federal, State and other regulations
• Assist in the implementation of each resident's care plan by performing personal cares and all Activities of Daily Living
• Answer any call lights to determine resident needs and take appropriate action.
• Assist with all AM and PM care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current, valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Iowa required.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must be 16 or older.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Weekend shifts required.
