Part Time Trainer
Looking for someone interested in personal training small group sessions on weekends, plus helping with marketing and events during the week at our Walnut Creek gym.
Availability needed weekends from 7am–1pm, with opportunities to help cover some weekday training hours as well.
Bonus if you have interest or experience in marketing, social media, and community events.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Experienced Personal Trainer to join our Small Group Training gym. As a Personal Trainer, you will coach session of small group personal training, customize workouts according to individual's needs and goals, and provide education on how to preform workouts correctly and safely. Your primary goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives. The ideal candidate is a great teacher with a passion for fitness. We are looking for someone who can work independently, is highly responsible, and dedicated to their role!
Responsibilities
Create individualization to workouts according to client needs when needed
Expertly coach Small group training sessions of 6 people max
Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
Cover sessions if another trainer is unavailable
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required
At least 5 years of experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
First aid and CPR-certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Independent and responsible
