Position Overview The Baseball Coordinator serves as the on-site leader for all game day operations, ensuring fields are set, games run smoothly, and players, coaches, and families have a positive experience. This is a highly interactive role that requires energy, engagement, and a willingness to step in and support on the field as needed.
Key Responsibilities Arrive on time and fully prepared for all game day assignments Set up fields before games and reset between games to ensure smooth transitions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized playing environment Actively engage with players, coaches, and parents to create a fun, positive atmosphere Serve as the primary on-site resource for questions, support, and issue resolution Provide on-field support and step in to coach when needed Ensure games stay on schedule and run efficiently Uphold i9 Sports’ core values of fun, safety, and sportsmanship
Qualifications Must be 21+ Prior baseball experience required, including working with youth athletes Coaching or leadership experience preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with players, coaches, and parents Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet Dependable, punctual, and committed to youth sports Available to work evenings and weekends Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and performing field setup and breakdown
