About the VP of Finance position

We are looking for a skilled VP Finance who will be responsible for all financial aspects of our global business and will manage the company's financial strategy and planning. You will also assess the company's financial performance, as well as the financial performance of each department or function, as well as manage investor and creditor relationships.

A successful candidate should be a reliable professional with broad knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles. You should also be a strategic thinker who can guide the business to maximize revenues and profits while reducing risks.

Candidate should have past experience in working with various functions in the organization and helping them to measure their performance financially and optimize their structure in order to enhance business metrics.

Candidate must be familiar with the environment of high-velocity VC funded start-ups and have past experience in managing VC relationships and start-ups KPIs.

VP Finance responsibilities are:

• Building a financial infrastructure to support the business

• Analyze the company's performance and risks and perform the financial planning based on the analysis results

• Analyze the financial performance of each function or department, and help to guide the company's management on optimal resource allocation

• Be responsible for investor reporting and relationship

• Establish and manage all financial processes such as payments, collections, commissions, etc. Including creating procedures and implementing them

• Manage contracts and relationships with creditors, if needed, and devise a credit strategy

• Supervise all audit and internal control operations

• Make sure that the company's financial operations are in compliance with financial laws and guidelines

VP Finance Mandatory Requirements are:

• 3+ years' experience of working on a VP of Finance or other similar position

• Overall 8+ years of experience in finance positions

• Past experience in start-up financial environment

• Past experience in high-velocity growth

• A profound experience of managing corporate finance and accounting principles

• Experience in implementing and managing FP&A

Preferred Qualifications:

• Past experience in enterprise infrastructure, especially storage
• Past experience in software, especially subscription based
• Past experience in software revenue recognition
• Past experience in hardware and software accounting practices
• Past experience in companies that work through high-touch sales
• Past experience in channel-focused companies
• Knowledge in legal aspects of the business

Location

Position is in the company headquarters in San Jose, CA. Remote work is not an option
