We’re looking for a motivated Weld Helper to join our team. This role supports welders in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components. Ideal candidates will be dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn a skilled trade.

Responsibilities:

Assist welders with setup and cleanup of work areas

Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning)

Operate basic hand and power tools

Move and position materials using hoists or other equipment

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Perform other tasks as needed to support the welding team

Requirements:

Previous experience in a shop or construction environment preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Willingness to follow safety protocols

Reliable transportation and good attendance

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Inter/Intra state travel

heavy equipment operator (forklift, telehandler, man lift) certifications not required but preferred
