Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at our facility located in Cincinnati, OH, 45233. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial automation equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will utilize your skills in AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFD), programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interface (HMI), welding, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting, and more to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluation, assembly, and repair tasks on industrial automation equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with AC and DC Motors, variable frequency drives (VFD), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and human-machine interface (HMI)
- Utilize MIG welder and TIG welder for welding setups in production
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and perform electrical troubleshooting
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and repair tasks
- Assemble mechanical components and perform mechanical assembly tasks
- Apply pneumatic knowledge and experience to install and maintain pneumatic systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFD), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and human-machine interface (HMI)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial automation equipment
- Familiarity with PLC wiring and electrical schematics
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Mechanical assembly skills
- Experience with pneumatics
- Knowledge of welding setups for production
- Familiarity with machine brands such as Miller, Lincoln, Allen Bradley, and Schneider Electric
