Summary: Experienced welder/fabricator to join a busy shop. Work includes reading blueprints, cutting, forming, welding, assembling and finishing metal components and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret drawings, templates and work orders

Set up and operate MIG/TIG/Stick welders, plasma cutters, grinders and other shop equipment

Fit, weld, grind and assemble structural steel, stainless and aluminum parts

Measure and layout parts to tight tolerances; perform quality checks

Maintain safe, clean workspace and follow PPE and safety procedures

Assist with material handling and fabrication tasks as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years welding/fabrication experience (or equivalent)

Proficient in MIG, Stick and TIG

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape, calipers, square)

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good teamwork

Valid NY driver’s license; forklift experience a plus

Welding certification (AWS or other) preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $20–$25/hr DOE

Overtime pay, paid holidays, vacation/sick leave
