We are growing and looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join us in building high-quality refractory steel forms and assemblies.

    Job Description

    We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator with strong technical skills and a solid work ethic. You’ll fabricate steel forms and assemblies to tight tolerances, working from engineering drawings or templates. You’ll be part of a small, capable team that values innovation, precision, and craftsmanship.

    Key Responsibilities

    Fabricate steel molds, forms, and frames for castable refractory products

    Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and templates

    Perform MIG and occasional stick welding with strong weld quality on structural 1/4"+ A36 steel, rebar, and anchors.

    Operate cutting, grinding, and forming tools (acetylene torch, band saw, hand grinders, rolling machines, etc.)

    Conduct quality checks for welds and final fit

    Assist with custom fabrication, jig creation, and shop improvements

    Maintain a clean and safe work environment

    Requirements

    2+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)

    Proficient with MIG welding; stick welding a plus

    Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills

    Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines

    Must be able to lift 40+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in a shop environment

    High school diploma or GED required

    Valid driver’s license

    Starting Pay: $24/hour
