Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Pay: $21-25/hr.

Shift: 1st

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Position Summary

• The Welder supports the fabrication (and as needed, installation support) of round and rectangular ductwork and specialty fabricated components. This role includes welding and fit-up on materials such as galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, performed in the shop.

Key Responsibilities 

• Weld ductwork and components using approved processes to meet job specs and quality standards.
• Fabricate and weld welded duct for applications such as kitchen exhaust, breechings/flues, shower exhaust, fume exhaust, and other industrial/ventilation needs.
• Weld and assemble specialty fabricated items such as drain pans, belt guards, hoppers, roof curbs/adaptors, catwalks, and related custom components.
• Perform layout, measurement, cutting, fit-up, tacking, final welds, grinding/finishing as required.

Required Qualifications 

• Proven welding experience in a fabrication environment (sheet metal, HVAC, industrial, or related).
• Ability to weld/fabricate in galvanized, stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel.
• Ability to read shop drawings/prints, take accurate measurements, and perform layout and fit-up.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and workmanship.
