About the Role:

JRK Steel Inc is looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in Duluth, MN! Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on steel components and structural assemblies

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings

Measure, cut, and fit metal pieces prior to welding

Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications

Operate angle grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

Collaborate with fabricators and shop leads to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

Proven experience in MIG welding in a steel or metal fabrication setting

Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings

Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality

Ability to stand, lift, and work in physically demanding conditions

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Welding certification or vocational training is a plus
