Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable manual MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality manual welding operations on a variety of metal components while meeting safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using welding equipment, and producing consistent welds in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform manual welding operations using MIG, TIG, and/or other welding processes as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production drawings.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other inspection tools.
- Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding.
Qualifications
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience operating welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely use measuring and inspection tools.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Welding certification is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Identify and report quality, material, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
