About the Role:

HI-TECH FURNACE SYSTEMS INC is looking for a skilled Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our team in Shelby Township, MI! Responsibilities:

Perform structural and pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication

Measure, cut, fit, and assemble pipe systems and structural components to specification

Inspect welds and pipe fittings for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Operate hand and power tools, grinders, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently

Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production deadlines

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety protocols

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder, Pipe Fitter, or combination role in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Knowledge of pipe fitting, layout, and assembly methods

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship

Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
