Job Title: Welder

Ram Jack is seeking a dependable and motivated Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for performing welding operations on fabricated steel components while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Perform welding operations according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

Prepare materials for welding, including fitting, cleaning, and positioning

Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance standards are met

Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs or issues

Skills & Competencies

Welding certification preferred

MIG welding experience preferred

Ability to safely operate welding tools and fabrication equipment

Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Strong attention to detail and weld quality

Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines

Ability to lift materials and work in a physically demanding environment

Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred

Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols preferred

Welding certifications are a plus

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
