  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Fabricator / MIG-TIG Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for reading blueprints, fitting and welding components, and producing high-quality weldments while meeting production schedules and quality standards.

    The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and metalworking equipment. Candidates with experience as a Fabricator, Welder, Fitter Welder, Structural Welder, or Metal Fabricator are encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities

    Fabrication & Welding

    • Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of components and assemblies.
    • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
    • Fit, tack weld, and complete weldments according to specifications.
    • Create cut lists for saw, plasma, and laser operations.
    • Build jigs and fixtures to support higher-volume production runs.
    • Communicate material and component requirements to management.
    • Assist other welders and fabricators as needed.

    Quality & Production

    • Inspect dimensions, weld quality, appearance, and overall workmanship.
    • Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of completed work.
    • Manage work orders from fabrication through completion.
    • Ensure projects are completed on schedule.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality.

    Safety & Housekeeping

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
    • Maintain reliable daily attendance and work effectively as part of a team.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Minimum of 2 years of MIG and TIG welding and fabrication experience.
    • Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to multitask and meet production deadlines.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
