Position: Welder Location: Leeds, AL

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Frequency: Weekly

We are seeking a dedicated Welder to join our team supporting the production of engineered plastic components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Join and repair plastic components using heat and pressure to ensure strong, durable welds.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, selecting the appropriate welding tools and materials.
• Inspect finished parts, verify accuracy against blueprints, and monitor inventory levels to maintain production standards.
• Work closely with team members across all shifts to meet departmental goals and maintain smooth operations.
• Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment and promptly report any issues requiring supervisor attention.
• Operate measurement and testing tools such as comparators, calipers, gauges, and other instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Contribute to production efforts by maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team leader to support overall operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous welding experience (plastic or related materials preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
