Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this position, you will accurately weld structural components for metal building. This is an integral part of the construction process. We are seeking a welder who can weld light metals ( 14 ga and 12 ga). The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail, has proven experience as a welder and can weld galvanized squared tubing ( 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" or 2 1/4" x 2 1/4") with MIG welding. In order to pass the interview, candidate will need to pass a welding test where they weld 2 squared tubbing pieces together. Their weld will then be inspected on site. Salary listed on posting is starting pay. We are currently offering a seasonal position. However, depending on your development and effort, this role has the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics

Plan layout and measurements of structural components

Create seamless structural welds

Follow all safety procedures

Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job

Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools

Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Welder (Minimum One Year Experience Required)

Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools

Understanding of all health and safety guidelines

Attention to detail

Responsible

Has to pass an in house welding practice test

Must know how to MIG weld
