Butterfly Staffing is supporting a global manufacturing organization seeking a Welding Engineer to support production, process improvement, and new product development within a heavy equipment environment.

This role interfaces cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve welding processes, resolve non-conformances, and support manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review product designs for manufacturability
• Develop and improve welding processes and workflows
• Specify welding equipment and procedures
• Support disposition of non-conforming product
• Participate in design reviews and manufacturing feedback
• Identify and implement production efficiency improvements
• Support capital equipment and technology implementation

Qualifications:
• BS in Welding Engineering (or related)
• 2–6+ years applicable welding/manufacturing experience (Level dependent)
• Experience with welding procedures, equipment specification, and process development
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of Lean principles and manufacturing improvement
• ERP/MRP and BOM experience preferred

Travel up to 10%.

Compensation commensurate with experience level.
