Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Leader to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld structural chain components and parts. This is an integral part of our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Welder. The successful candidate will have leadership experience and is expected to manage jobs through the welding area efficiently with the highest quality.

Responsibilities

Shop leader in the Welding area (Manual and robotic)

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics

Plan layout and measurements of chain products

Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job

Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools

Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment

Lead safety initiatives in the shop

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Welder

Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is preferred

Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings

Understanding of all health and safety guidelines
