Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welding Lead Repair Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrode cables used in [medical, industrial, or welding] equipment. The technician will ensure all cables meet operational and safety standards to maintain reliable equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect electrode cables for signs of wear, damage, or electrical faults.

Perform diagnostic tests using multimeters and other electrical testing tools.

Repair or replace connectors, insulation, wires, and other cable components.

Solder or crimp connectors as needed to ensure secure and functional terminations.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and test results.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Collaborate with engineering or production teams to resolve recurring issues.

Maintain inventory of cable components and tools.

Calibrate and test repaired cables to ensure functionality and compliance.

Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance efforts.

Repair small hand tools as needed.
