QC Inspector (Welding & Fabrication)

Pay: $25-35/hr. (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Mon-Fri

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure high-quality standards for a welding/fabrication shop in York, PA.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quality control in Welding/Fabrication (CWI is not required)
• Familiarity with structural steel shapes and hardware
• Familiarity with measuring tools and techniques
• Must be to read and interpret blueprints and standard weld symbols
• Experience with welding inspection methods and criteria
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Knowledge of AISC standards is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Inspect fabricated parts and welded assemblies for conformance to blueprints and specs
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Shop Foreman to address any quality issue
