The Certified pharmacy technician provides friendly , efficient pharmacy care to all customers. Under the direction of the pharmacist , assists in operation of pharmacy. Assists the pharmacy team in daily operations of the pharmacy department. Serves customers well and assists the pharmacist with solving unmet customers needs the pharmacy and Health and Beauty care area.

Duties/Responsibilites

-Customer relations including understanding HIPPA standards

-operate computers and cash registers efficiently and with accuracy

-Demonstrates accuracy entering prescriptions and insurance information into the computer.

-Assist with filling and facing functions in the pharmacy area as well as in the OTC area

-Abides by all state and federal laws

-responsible for maintaining their own Certified Pharmacy license as required by the board of pharmacy.
