Job Summary
Our Event Manager plays a key role in maintaining WellSense’s commitment to community as a remote organization. In this role, you will plan, coordinate and execute WellSense organizational events for 1000+ employees as well as meetings and events at the team or department level. Partnering with leaders, you will gain insight into the goals or objectives of each event. Responsibilities include working with leaders to ideate and effectively plan events, manage the event budget, and source venues and vendors for resources such as audio visual equipment, catering needs, room blocks, transportation, handouts and giveaways. This role will handle many of our community events that support our company goals. The position will work closely with our employee engagement teams to help facilitate programs and initiative.

Key Functions/Responsibilities
Manage events and meetings for departments within the company including leadership, Community Engagement and
other ad hoc request
Support employee engagement initiatives by planning and executing companywide events
Build timelines, project plans and event requirements from set up to breakdown, including evaluations for attendees
and any metric-driven measures to report
Track, allocate and manage budgets associated with events
Build agendas in partnership with teams, coordinate speakers , track and maintain attendance
Identify and source vendors that meet the best combination of quality and cost
Negotiate terms and cost associated with venues, vendors or suppliers
Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
Coordinate participation in external community events that have a WellSense sponsorship or requested presence
Work with WellSense design and brand teams to ensure events are in brand and accurately reflect the Company
Manage internal, employee-focused promotions and initiatives
