WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania, seeks two full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians to join our well-established practice. ABOUT THE PRACTICE:
- Full service consultative practice
- Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep (preferred)
- 2020 Fellows will certainly be considered and are welcome to apply
- Join 3 experienced physicians, 1 Prosthodontist & 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians
- One APC covers 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient
- This practice is moving to a brand new 12,000 SF facility in early 2020
- The group’s offices feature full PFT Labs with fulltime Respiratory Therapists
- Call is currently 1:4 and taken one week at a time
- Employment with WellSpan Medical Group, which employs 1,600+ providers
- Ephrata Community Hospital (ECH) is a 130-bed hospital with a robust PCI Program
- 10-bed state-of-the-art and closed ICU
- Busy non-trauma Emergency Department sees about 40,000 patients per year
- ECH employs a COPD Navigator to help reduce hospital admissions
- The Ephrata area of Lancaster County is growing exponentially
- Young families choose Ephrata, as it’s an easy commute to the Philadelphia suburbs
- Lancaster County is now the 2nd largest retirement destination in the entire U.S.
- Newly renovated Ephrata Cancer Center with Medical & Radiation Oncology
- Sleep Lab Medical Director specializes in adult and pediatric sleep disorders
- Large primary care referral base assures a steady stream of complex cases
- 24/7 Hospitalist Service handles all admissions
- Nocturnist coverage allowing physician not to return @ night unless necessary
- Entire WellSpan system transitioned to EPIC in 2017
