    WellSpan Health is a top-rated, integrated health system with a focus on a high-quality patient care.  As a part of WellSpan Health, WellSpan Philhaven, is a non-profit behavioral healthcare organization offering a continuum of compassionate, caring services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults in south central Pennsylvania.  We are seeking a full-time, Psychologist for the Lebanon Children's Community Based Services. This is an opportunity to join the region’s largest non-profit behavioral health care organization and a culture of ABA.

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    1. Provides clinical supervision of counseling personnel to include participation in therapy sessions, consultations regarding specific cases, and regular counseling.
    2. Designs and implements treatment plans, including individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and evaluates and documents patient progress.
    3. Assesses patient needs through clinical interview, chart/history review, and psychological testing procedures.
    4. Consults with physicians, nursing personnel and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop optimal treatment plans for patients requiring psychological treatment.
    5. Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
    6. Plans and participates in the ongoing staff development in-services for all personnel assigned to the area.
    7. Develops and delivers professional continuing education seminars and workshops to the mental health community.
    8. Assists in the implementation of education and training experience for psychiatric interns and other designated students.
    9. Develops, recommends and coordinates the implementation of new procedures.

     

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

     

    The Community Based Program is a medically prescribed and individualized mental health service delivered in the home, school and community. These services are supportive, time-limited, one-to-one planned behavioral health interventions. They involve both student and family, as directed by a treatment plan. We serve children with a mental health diagnosis who are between the ages of 3 and 21.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Minimum Experience- 3 - 5 years                                  

    Min Field Of Expertise- Meets requirements for Clinical Supervisor & Category:  Expert Clinician

    Required Certification- Licensed to practice as a clinical psychologist in PA
