WellSpan is a charitable, mission-driven organization, committed to exceptional care for all, lifelong wellness and healthy communities.   ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The Medical Director, Neurosciences Service Line will work directly with the Vice-President, Neurosciences Service Line to provide clinical, programmatic, and strategic oversight of service line activities across the WellSpan Health System.  This position is intended to be 50% clinical and 50% administrative leadership.  

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Develops and implements SERVICE LINE STRATEGIC PLANS.
• Utilizes knowledge of CURRENT AND FUTURE POLICIES, practices, trends, competitive threats and other information affecting the business and organization to advance the service line.
• Develops of strategies to implement NEW SERVICES AND EMERGING TREATMENT OPTIONS
• Ensures that current STANDARDS OF CARE ARE MAINTAINED.
• Partners in PROVIDER RECRUITMENT.
• Adheres to being a LIFE-LONG LEARNER and COLLABORATIVE service line leader

• M.D./D.O and completion of neurosciences fellowship
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare leadership as a Medical Director or Clinical Chairman
• Board certification in a neurosciences specialty
