GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, facilitates learning opportunities for a variety of Epic programs and target audiences. Completes training and competency assessments required to be an Epic credentialed trainer. Leads and maintains assigned programs and courses. Facilitates training based on Epic training standards and utilizing Epic curriculum. Continually assesses audience learning needs and evaluates impact of learning outcomes. Works in conjunction with Epic Principal Trainers in the assessment and development of new learning solutions, sometimes as the subject matter expert.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Implements, delivers and maintains assigned system-wide Epic educational services/programs. 2 Serves as lead trainer/facilitator for Epic learning solutions in the classroom or virtual environments. 3 Coordinates communication with various stakeholders and leaders related to scope of training responsibilities and learning initiatives. 4 Maintains assigned program training materials. Collaborates with Principal Trainers as needed for program updates. 5 Provides guidance and consulting services to organization in assigned scope of training responsibility. 6 Contributes to the enhancement of organizational, team and individual performance through the appropriate and measurable evaluation of education interventions. 7 Evaluates learning programs and recommends changes as needed to improve learning outcomes. 8 Contributes to the development and maintenance of competencies related to the electronic health record for positions within the System.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 5 - 8 years
REQ CERT / REGISTRATION Requires credentialing as an Epic Credentialed Trainer within 7 weeks of hire; this includes completion of application training and “train the trainer” course, successful completion of all assessments with a minimum score of 85% and successful presentation of a lesson to a panel of Epic-qualified experts.Failure to obtain those certifications within the specified time frame could lead to termination from the Epic Team.
