WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a full-time cardiologist with fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation. The successful candidate will join our thriving practice headquartered in York. This is an opportunity to become part of an innovative and well-respected group.
ABOUT THE PRACTICE
- Ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Candidate will join a team of 19 cardiologists
- The physicians are supported by 14 Advanced Practice Providers
- Experienced Senior Practice Manager and seasoned office staff
- This is a 100% consultative practice
- 2020 Fellows with excellent training are encouraged to apply
- Two experienced Heart Failure cardiologists will provide mentorship
- York Hospital is a 600-bed teaching hospital & Level I trauma center
- Weekend call coverage occurs every 2.5 months
- All admissions are handled by a collegial hospitalist team
- Rounding on CICU, Open Heart ICU, Cardiology Step-Down & CHF Unit
- York Hospital features a well-established LVAD program
- Transplant collaboration with University of MD
- The group also includes recognized experts in TAVR, CTO & Advanced EP
- WellSpan Health (8 hospitals & 160 care locations) utilizes EPIC
- Every technology available to care for complex cardiac cases including: 3D ECHO, Cardiac MRI & CT

Required Skills
Must be Board Certified/Board Qualified. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license.
Required Experience
