    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Under the general supervision of the Senior Director-Talent Acquisition & Diversity & Inclusion, leads and develops a team in executing proactive talent acquisition strategies to source, screen, select and onboard top talent. Partners with Talent Acquisition (TA) leadership to translate business needs into talent acquisition solutions. Leverages resources to achieve the effective sourcing, branding and attraction, screening and selection, hiring and on-boarding of high quality, diverse talent across the organization. Key responsibilities also include organizing, analyzing and reporting on staffing activity metrics or new program features.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1 Leads a team of talent acquisition professionals to deliver high quality, cost-effective talent acquisition services and processes in order to meet the business needs.

    2 Manages, evaluates, develops and coaches staff, ensuring individual and team performance meets desired outcomes and Service Level Agreements.

    3 Drives an efficient, consistent hiring process from start to finish, including driving best practices in hiring process and hiring decisions, interview tools and techniques, number of interviews, routes to managers, best channels, etc..

    4 Develops the capabilities of the recruiting team in the areas of effective sourcing, interviewing and assessment of candidates.

    5 Works closely with TA Leadership to implement departmental goals, objectives and systems that correspond with the organizational strategy.

    6 Assists TA Leadership in managing balanced scorecard of metrics for accurate measure of the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of processes and outcomes for talent acquisition. Analyzes data and makes appropriate recommendations for continuous process improvement.

    7 Provides coaching and guidance to hiring leaders, enhancing their skills and knowledge of recruitment, selection and the external job market.

    8 Assists TA Leadership in oversight, analysis and recommendations for improvement in recruitment marketing/ advertising initiatives. Evaluates solutions to source candidates from a variety of sources and technologies, including social media sources.

    9 Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, especially in the area of employment law pertinent to the talent acquisition process.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor’s degree

    Preferred Education:

    Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field

    Minimum Experience:

    5 - 7 years of progressive, professional talent management/leadership with a highly customer focused environment experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Healthcare.

    Experience at a Director level preferred.

    Required Experience

    Excellent written and verbal communication, process management, administration, hands-on execution, time management and information management skills are essential.

    Strong relationship building with both internal and external customers; Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Proficient in using ATS and HRIS systems; Knowledge of sourcing tools (i.e. social media, online resume database mining, etc.).

    Ability to identify performance gaps and recommend process and other improvement interventions using Lean or other process improvement methodologies; knowledge of employment law, recruitment best practices and applicable compliance laws that relate to the monitoring of talent acquisition activities.

    Experience in the following: recruiting at all levels; identifying, assessing and managing external vendors related to Talent Acquisition; building, mentoring and coaching a team; standardizing processes and monitoring a disseminated geographic structure for consistency. Retained search experience is preferred.
