  • Responsibilities

    The Wellbeing Coordinator / HR Support is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and oversight of Sandridge’s total wellbeing and resilience initiatives at the Morton location. This role combines creativity, empathy, and strategic HR support to foster a healthy, engaged, and supported workforce. The ideal candidate will be a visible and approachable presence across the facility, supporting employees’ wellbeing while also playing a key role in onboarding, employee engagement, and recruiting. Responsibilities: Wellbeing & Engagement • Design and implement programs that raise awareness and promote healthy lifestyles. • Build a culture of wellbeing by engaging with employees in common areas, production floors, and offices. • Identify and connect employees with appropriate resources, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). • Develop and promote wellbeing content through electronic bulletin boards, videos, newsletters, and lunch & learns. • Create targeted interventions and educational campaigns for specific needs or populations. • Engage employees individually or in small groups to discuss wellbeing topics and concerns. • Partner with the Medina Wellbeing Coordinator and serve on the Wellbeing Steering Committee. • Maintain a comprehensive and updated directory of health and support resources. Employee Onboarding • Lead and facilitate New Hire Orientation (NHO) with a focus on integrating employees into the company culture. • Ensure all new hires understand their role, training path, and how their work connects to business goals. • Coordinate onboarding logistics and partner with hiring managers and trainers to ensure a seamless transition. HR & Talent Acquisition Support • Serve as a key HR support resource, assisting in initiatives and employee events. • Act as the primary Talent Acquisition contact for the location, developing and executing recruitment strategies. • Partner with hiring managers to standardize and improve the interview and hiring process. • Support additional HR functions as needed, including Learning and Development, Benefits, and Compliance. General • Be a culture ambassador and build strong relationships across all departments. • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Position Competencies: • Passion for employee wellbeing and creating a positive workplace culture. • Strong communication and facilitation skills. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • High emotional intelligence and empathy. • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or mid-shift as needed. • Comfortable engaging with all levels of staff in a production environment. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Bilingual preferred (not required); must be able to read and write in English Qualifications for Position: • Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Health Promotion, Public Health, Social Work, Human Resources, or related field. • 3+ years of experience delivering wellbeing, health, or resilience programming. • Prior experience supporting HR functions, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Experience managing social media for internal communications is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality. Compensation: $55,000 - $63,000 yearly
