Job Description:

As a Dietary Manager (i.e., Food and Nutrition Manager, Certified Dietary Manager, Nutritionist, Registered Dietician, and/or Dietetic Tech), you will be responsible for managing the center’s Food and Nutrition Program.

Responsibilities:

•  The Registered Dietitian coordinates nutritional care of patients by completing nutritional assessments, developing and implementing care plans and documenting dietary information about patients.
•  You will supervise the preparation and service of planned menus, nourishments, and supplements, provide nutrition education to residents, patients, and their families, and provide oversight and management of the center’s Dietary Aides and Cooks.
•  Provides guidance and collaborates with the Food Service Director in the provision of food and nutrition services.

Requirements/Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree or other advanced degree in dietetics
•  Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
•  2 years’ experience in Long Term Care preferred
•  Registered Dietitian License/Certification by State of Florida
•  Registered dietitians awaiting approval of State Licensing board allows. Provisional dietitians must have all documentation in a medical record co-signed by a state licensed dietician.
