The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Data Technology Group (EDT) is organized into vertical LOB/CIO aligned groups and supported by the Integrated Data Services (IDS) horizontal group.  IDS provides standardized data platform services and capabilities (Enterprise Data Lake, Data Control Tools, others) to enable the Enterprise Data Teams’ delivery to Blueprint Program strategic objectives.

Wells Fargo has chosen Enterprise Data Lake (a Big Data Platform) as its strategic platform for Data Management and Governance. The Enterprise Data Lake is a multi-year program with core focus on Advanced Foundational capabilities, Data Governance, Data Ingestion processes and Analytical Consumptions.

Enterprise Data Technology is seeking a Software Engineer.

Key responsibilities include:

• Development & maintenance of the ETL Interfaces using Ab Initio, Unix, Teradata
• Design, Develop, test, implement new/enhance existing features/functionalities in enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE/.NET/C#
• Analyze complex business requirements, functional specs and writes technical specifications
• Troubleshoot applications and work directly with various application/ business/support team partners
• Contributes to technical discussion with senior technology leads and architects 
• Contributes to continuous improvement technical ideas within the team
• Develop less experienced team members to enhance on their technical and domain capabilities
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met as part of projects delivery
• Level-3 application support

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience working within an application development environment
• 3+ years of SQL experience
• 2+ years of web development experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 1+ year of Agile experience
• 1 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 3+ years of J2EE experience
• 3+ years of Java experience
• 3+ years of JavaScript development experience
• 3+ years of UNIX experience
• 3+ years of Web Services experience
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
• 1+ year of Kubernetes experience
• 1+ year of Cloud Foundry experience
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills
• Strong technical and quantitative skills
• Strong root cause analysis skills

OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environment
• Experience meeting high production and quality standards in a fast paced, development and production support environment
• Hands on working experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF) and Microservices
• Working experience using the development ecosystem of applications (JIRA, ALM, GitHub, uDeploy, Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN, etc)
• Good experience in designing and delivering database applications : Oracle/Teradata
• Good knowledge on Data warehousing concepts and experience of working on any ETL tool; preferably Ab Initio or Talend  or Informatica
• Experience on developing Pivotal Cloud Foundry(PCF) hosted application
• Good knowledge on database design and optimization,  flexible to work on Data warehouse /database applications
• Good knowledge/skills on Spark, Python, Scala
