Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Alarm, Camera, Access Control, and Fire Alarm installer to join our team. In this role, you will install and maintain security and alarm equipment for our customers. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, setting up and operating electronic equipment, and coordinating with clients, and P.M.'s. The ideal candidate is creative, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of various brands and software.
Responsibilities
Install security equipment, including control panels, peripherals, initiating and notification devices, cabling, cameras, monitors, speakers, racks
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
Clean and maintain equipment in excellent working condition
Clean and maintain van in excellent working condition, keeping inventory stocked, neat and organized.
Keep accurate records of equipment inventory
Qualifications
Must have an active Connecticut C5/6 or L5/6 license.DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE OF THESE LICENSES! Failure to have this license immediately disqualifies you.
High school diploma or associates degree in a relevant field
Previous experience as an alarm installer, integrator, and or audio/video technician is preferred
Excellent computer skills
Strong understanding of aforementioned equipment
Creativity and attention to detail
Physical ability to bend and lift heavy objects
