    Job Summary :

    As a member of the Claims Intake **** Team, you will play a vital role in providing an outstanding customer experience by using your investigative, problem solving, and negotiation skills to resolve a variety of homeowner claims in a fast paced, detail-oriented, team environment. Claims Associate **** are responsible for managing the claims process incurred by in home delivery teams. They work with home owners who have suffered property damage due to the actions of the company they work for. Claims Associate **** help these people file a claim, investigate the validity of that claims, and determine how much money should be paid out as compensation.

    Claims Associate **** may also be tasked with ensuring that all parties involved in the claim are treated fairly throughout the process. This might include making sure that claimants receive timely updates on the status of their claim or informing them about any changes to their benefits during this time.

    Responsibilities :

    Skills needed :

    • Experience working in a logistics/distribution/delivery environment. Busy, fast paced, and many moving parts.
    • Must be experience with Spreadsheets and documentation.
    • Speaking Spanish is a huge plus!
    • 2-3 years solid office support skills, in charge of a large volume of items going out of a cross dock.
    • Will be interacting with Drivers and Helpers in the mornings. Any experience with non-CDL or CDL trucking – such as Independent Contractor / Owner Operator is a plus!
    • First part of the job will be supporting the Sr. Property Claims Intake Supervisor. Providing documentation, phone support, in-person support to the Drivers and Helpers in the morning, running a busy cross-dock of brand-new furniture and bedding. Keep supplies stocked up, update spreadsheets, forward information by email, scanning, etc.

    Qualifications :

    2nd component of the job will be Claims: 1 - 2 years experience

    • Any experience with insurance claims is helpful. When deliveries cause any damage to a person’s house, will need to communicate with customers, track responses, help with getting 2-3 bids from licensed repair professionals.
    • Manage communications through heavy phone, e-mail, scanning, etc.
    • Proficient with computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with partners in a professional and constructive manner.
    • Positive and upbeat attitude.
    • Strong passion for customer service and fleet excellence
    • Social security card and right-to-work.

    Candidate must Pass a pre-employment drug test / criminal background
