Our client is currently looking to add an early career Engineer with a well-rounded piping & equipment type background to support Chemical Processing and Oil & Gas projects in the local area. Strong candidates should have experience with Process Piping Systems, Process Equipment including Fixed & Rotating Equipment, and the tools used to design & analyze these systems. The ability to develop specifications for mechanical equipment is highly desired.

Qualifications:

B.S. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Fixed and / or rotating equipment, refinery operations, maintenance, or sustaining engineering experience required

Equipment drawing review and approval

Working knowledge of ASME codes and API standards for Pressure Vessels and Storage tanks.

P&ID development and review

Process Piping experience including:

ASME B31.3

Piping layout

Pipe specifications

Pipe Supports

Experience with the design, specification, application, and modification of fixed equipment, such as:

Pressure vessels

Heat exchangers

Tanks

Experience with developing specifications for rotating equipment, such as:

Pumps

Motors

Compressors

Turbines
