Electrician Apprentice/Helper West Bay Energy is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice/Helper for our expanding team. In this position you will work under one of our highly skilled and trained electricians. Our high-quality work separates us from the competition. You will learn the skills necessary to succeed in the quickly expanding renewable energy sector! We do all work in-house to ensure all installations have a high first-time pass rate for each inspection. We are looking for candidates with high attention to detail and a team-oriented work ethic. Responsibilities: • Install and commission electrical components of a solar panel system • Understand and follow NEC code requirements • Ability to troubleshoot • Work with local city and state inspectors for permitting • Willing to climb ladders and work on rooftops • Follow a safety program and attend safety meetings • Excellent customer service skills • Upgrade service panels • Install and commission backup generators • Follow instruction from our Journeymen electricians Qualifications: • Able to pass a background check • Possess valid driver's license • 1+ years of electrical experience • Motivated to learn new skills and grow with us as a company • Willing to be a team player and learn the skills to become a leader • Positive attitude Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly
